Scope of this article

This page covers allied units newly obtained in Super Robot Wars Y base game missions and in additional content and bonus missions (units newly received through joining or upgrades), the pilots who join with them, and each mission's unlock conditions and preceding mission tree. Guests who fight alongside you only briefly, and form changes, pilot swaps, rejoining, and departures of units already owned are not included. Strategy (proficiency and upgrades) is not covered.

Sources checked 2026-10-18

This page gathers which units are obtained in which missions in Super Robot Wars Y. Units, pilots, mission names, and unlock conditions are taken from material researched by the site operator.

The flow of all missions by chapter is covered separately in Super Robot Wars Y scenario routes.

Most units arrive several at a time in a specific mission. So the units are first listed by participating series category, and each unit links to the mission that gives it. On the mission side, every unit and pilot that the mission gives is listed.

Units by category

The faces under the unit art are the pilots who join with that unit. Clicking a mission name under "Obtained in" takes you to that mission's section below. When "Obtained in" lists two or more missions, the unit arrives in whichever of them is played first, and cases where the missions split between the male and female protagonist are also noted. "If missed" is the mission that gives the unit later if you did not receive it because you did not play the earlier mission.

Units and pilots by mission

Each mission gets one box. "Unlock conditions" are conditions that must be met besides finishing missions (kill counts, aces, choices, additional content, and so on), and "Mission tree" traces the missions that must be finished before this mission opens, back to the nearest required chapter mission. When earlier missions run in a long single line, the middle is shortened, and a mission that appears twice in the same tree is marked "Same as above" from its second appearance on. Conditions that list the kill counts of several pilots together are likely combined totals, but this has not been confirmed.

Clear the missions above to open the ones below. Of missions joined by dotted lines, clearing any one is enough. Boxes with a thick border are required chapter missions.
