Units and Map Icons by Series

The list starts with the Mazinger series and groups participating series by franchise. The TV and movie versions and sequels of one series are separate groups, so if you cannot find the unit you are looking for, check the neighboring groups of the same series. Transformed and combined forms are grouped on the base unit's card. Clicking a unit name or image takes you to this site's unit article, and clicking a pilot name takes you to the pilot article (where one exists).

Combat and Series Scope in 第3次α

The full title is 「第3次スーパーロボット大戦α ―終焉の銀河へ」, a simulation RPG released by Banpresto for the PlayStation 2. The official PlayStation catalog introduced it as the final chapter of the Alpha series, continuing the story of "スーパーロボット大戦α", and highlighted that it has the most participating series in the series (according to the catalog wording). Standard edition introduction

The official introduction does not give the number of participating series as a figure. The list below divides the TV, movie, OVA, and related titles of the same series into separate groups. For example, the Macross series is split into Macross 7, Macross Plus, Super Dimension Fortress Macross, and the movie Do You Remember Love?, and Universal Century Gundam into Zeta Gundam, Gundam ZZ, 0083, Char's Counterattack, Beltorchika's Children, and others. So the number of series at the top of the list may differ from participating series counts given in other sources.

Banpresto Original is grouped separately into Alpha Series Original, SRX Project, and the ATX Team. The Alpha Series Original group contains units such as the Dygenguar, 真・龍虎王, and ディス・アストラナガン.
